Abstract:

To evaluate the effects of different treatments on seed dormancy breaking of Notobasis, two separate experiments were conducted at Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University of Khuzestan, in 2017 with three replications. The first experiment included nine physical, mechanical and chemical treatments (control, surface scarification, intense scarification, one and two weeks of chilling at 4°C, soaking into hot water for two hours without scarification , soaking in 25°C distilled water for two hours with scarification  and acid treatment for six and 12 minutes) based on completely randomized designs (CRD). The Second experiment was hormone priming arranged as a factorial experiment based on completely randomized design with gibberellin concentrations (0, 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 ppm) and priming duration (12 and 24 hour) as the treatments. The highest seed germination (40%) obtained from 12 minutes of acid treatment. Results showed that seed germination reached to 100% after priming seeds with GA3 concentrations for 12 hours. However, increase the priming durations to 24 hours, significantly declined seed germination to 47% in 200 and 400 ppm of GA3 concentrations. The Increase of GA3 concentrations in 12 hours led to a linear reduction of T50 from 31 hours in 200 ppm to 19 hours in 1000 ppm). In 24 hours of priming treatment, T50 followed a Gaussian function and the highest T50 (92 hours) was obtained from 600 ppm. It is recommended to immerse the seeds for 12 minutes in sulfuric acid and prime with 400 ppm GA3 acid for 12 hours to break dormancy and increase the vigor index.

Abstract:

In this research the effect of heat treatment offer welding (PWHT) in 650, 750 and 8500C for two hours on Sulfide stress corrosion cracking resistance (SSC), welding metal Inconel 625 to low alloy steel 4130 was analyzed that was welded using Automatic TIG welding process then the mechanical properties of the joint was observed using micro hardness measure experiment (weld metal, base metal and the welding heat-affected zone) and welding metal structure using light microscopy, electron SEM(EDX), also XRD. The comparison of the microstructure in different temperatures show the least effect on microstructure in 6500C. In micro hardness measure test after Post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) with increasing temperature we observed decreasing hardness of base metal and heat-effected zon and alsoincreasing weld metal micro hardness. when the temperature of Post-weld heat treatment reached to 8500C phase γ " changed quickly to delta phase δ . when temperature reached to 8500C secondary phases changed to needle form. After stress testing in Sulfide environment magnetic particles (MT) was done on the samples and results showed that in the Post-weld heat treatment sample 8500C tension crack is made. Pictures of stress testing(SSC) SEM sample shows that tension cracks mode is base metal cracks along the grain boundaries and it also extends the base metal to weld metal.

Abstract:

The combination of job content, work structure, technology, and environmental circumstances, and the employees' own abilities, resources, and requirements can create psychosocial hazards. All of these factors can influence work-related stress. There are several ways to treat this type of stress, one of which is pharmacological treatments. Stress medications reduce the symptoms of anxiety, such as fear, anxiety, and panic attacks, by acting on the brain and body. Anti-stress medications are not a definitive treatment for anxiety and stress disorders, but they can help reduce symptoms. Furthermore, new sociocultural and medical information has increased awareness of the importance of the workplace as a social predictor of health. Compared with women, men have a significantly lower level of assessment of their own health status, and women have a significantly lower indicator of physical functioning and vital activity than men of working age. There was a significant difference in the quality of life of the working-age population, depending on age and gender, in the groups of 21-27 years, 28-35 years, and 36-40 years. Among men of working-age with higher education, their own assessment of the state of health was significantly lower than that of men with specialized secondary education, and life activity was reduced, the presence of depressive, anxious experiences, and mental distress was characteristic, social contacts were limited, the level of communication was reduced, and the emotional state interfered with the performance of work or other daily activities. In the group of men with higher education, compared with women with higher education, the number of points on the SF-36 questionnaire scale, which reflects the psychological component as a whole, was significantly lower. A comparison of the parameters that characterize the quality of life, depending on the work place, revealed significant differences in the group of able-bodied women working in industrial enterprises and those of the service sector.

Abstract:

Introduction One of the most important changes occurs in the body of a pregnant woman is postpartum milk secretion. If the baby is not fed from this milk or the milk is not drained from the mother’ s breast in any other manner, some maternal problems will be arised. There are numerous drug and non-drug interventions to suppress lactation after childbirth and relief of its symptoms in women. This review report aimed to investigate the literature involved in this field to offer a single protocol in such cases. In the search strategy, we used the keywords of suppression of lactation, treatments for suppression of lactation, Drugs in breastfeeding, Lactation after Perinatal, Neonatal, or Infant Loss by referring to the valid scientific databases, including Sciencedirect, Pubmed, Elsevier, Cochrane, and about 26 relevant papers were received and analyzed. Conclusion Currently, the recommended methods for the cessation of lactation in women with necessary indications are not conclusive for all involved women. Identification and applying different methods to suppress lactation in mothers who have been banned to use milk for various reasons, can significantly help them to better manage suppression of lactation. Based on the relevant systematic review study, it seems that in case of low maternal milk secretion, it is better to use non-pharmacological methods to suppress lactation because of their fewer side effects; but the most effective treatments are the use of Bromocriptine and Cabergoline. But still the most common treatment for the suppression of lactation is administration of Estrasiol.

Abstract:

In this experiment, the effect of garlic (GP) and tomato (TP) powders on performance, blood parameters, sex differentiation and hatchability of Ross-308 broiler breeders were examined and compared with In-Ovo injection of garlic or tomato hydroalcoholic extracts. In first experiment, 375 hens and 25 roosters (47 wk.) were randomly allocated to 5 treatments and 5 replicates, for 4 weeks. treatments included: 1) basal diet (control), 2 and 3) basal diet+ 2 and 4 percent of GP, and 4 and 5) basal diet + 2 and 4 percent of TP, respectively. In second experiment, 200 hens and 20 roosters were randomly allocated to 2 treatments including 1) basal diet and 2) basal diet + 4% of TP (selected treatment of the Exp. 1) in 5 replications from 52-56 wk. During incubation period, experimental treatments included: 1) control group, 2) eggs from hens fed 4% TP, 3) In-Ovo injection of physiological serum and 4 and 5) In-Ovo injection of 0.1 and 0.3 ml of garlic and tomato hydroalcoholic extracts. The results of first experiment, adding garlic and tomato powders was not significant on egg qualitative traits and blood parameters (P>0.05). All In-Ovo injection treatments increased fertility percentage (P<0.05). The second experiment results showed that treatments had no significant effect on the percent of males and females (P>0.05). In general, addition of 4 percent tomato powder to broiler breeders in comparison to In-Ovo injection of hydroalcoholic extracts of garlic and tomato, did not increase male 1-d-old chicks’ percentage of hatched chicks.

Abstract:

Delaying in planting and low precipitation are the major problem in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) farming in Iran. To evaluate the effects of inducing of drought tolerance under field conditions an experiment was done in 2009 at Agricultural research center in western Azerbaijan under well-water and drought stress. The experiment was Split-plot factorial in randomized complete blocks Design with three replications, in which two irrigation conditions includes well-water and drought stress as main plots and factorial of two cultivars (Zarrin, and Sardary) and Hardening includes osmotic solutions (10% polyethylene glycol (8000), 3% sodium chloride and 2.5% KCL) and plant growth regulator (10 ppm IAA) by control as subplots. Drought stress obtained by cut irrigation from rapid stem development stage. Result showed that besides traits RWC of flag leaf and fertile stems other traits such as grain yield, number of spike per square meter, number of seed per spike, number of spikelet per spike, total dry mater, 1000- number of seed weight, flag leaf area, Plant height and leaf chlorophyll content had significant different at 5% level. Seed priming can improve many traits such as yield that increase (35 percent) in priming with plant growth regulators (IAA) optimal growth condition. Besides the Hormonal priming, Hydropriming and Hardening results showed that close to the Hormonal priming because of the high cost of priming with growth regulators, Hydropriming recommended to use. Priming of seeds is accelerated plant growth stages and thereby reduced to a minimum level of farm irrigation. According to the country’s arid and semiarid climates seed treatment is essential.
